How does Omega Super HPS Lamps work?

The two ceramic tubes that have been designed to optimise light output help to achieve far more usable light energy within the user’s grow room. Likewise, the dynamics of the tube allows for a reduction of the heat that the lamp produces.

As a result, this will not negatively impact on the lifetime of the Omega HPS Lamp. This results in a far lower grow temperature, which will help to increase plant yield. The advanced super-lumen technology within this lamp produces more wattage from a lamp. Plus, the dense red spectrum is the ideal light during the flowering phase.

Where can Omega Super HPS Lamps be used?

The Omega Super HPS Lamps are for use within a professional indoor grow room lighting system, featuring Ballasts and Reflectors. The HPS lamps should be used during the flowering stage of plant growth. Each of these lamps will cover the following grow spaces:

• 250w: 0.6 – 0.7 metres squared
• 400w: 0.8 – 0.9 metres squared
• 600w: 1 – 1.2 metres squared

The Omega Dual Spectrum Lamps supply the perfect balance of red and blue spectrums which has been achieved by altering the PAR range. These lamps are ideal for guiding plants through growth and flowering. Broader hitting spectrums are achieved by tweaking the PAR range suitable for plants from start to finish. Ideal for plants through both the growth and flowering stage. Added UV for ripening and hardening.

Precision engineered lamps

Omega Lighting’s precision engineered lamps provide an optically superior product. The beam patterns are smoother with striations and hot spots are significantly reduced. Not only are they energy-efficient but they are tuned and optimised to create a higher PAR output. Omega Lighting’s advanced super-lumen technology produces additional wattage from the lamp. All Omega Lighting Lamps carry a CE Mark and a minimum of 12 month’s guarantee.

Where can Omega Dual Spectrum Lamps be used?

The Omega Dual Spectrum Lamps are used for improving the flowering and vegetation development of plants. The lamps feature added UV for further ripening and hardening of plants. Likewise, these lamps feature a broader spectrum of usable light. They provide long-lasting performance and consistent lumen output. Furthermore, the dynamics of the tube reduces the amount of heat this lamp produces, resulting in a lower grow temperature which will improve plant yields.

How to use Omega Dual Spectrum Lamps

As with all HID lamps, users should handle with care. Therefore, before handling lamps should be switched off and left to cool down. Avoid touching the lamp and spraying liquids around hot lamps.

Omega Dual Spectrum Lamps should be used within an indoor growing environment, featuring a suitable Omega Ballast and Omega Reflector. Therefore, when fitting the lamp be aware not to touch the glass with fingertips, as marks on the glass can cause damage to the light. We recommend holding the lamp with a clean cloth.

Please note when powering the Lighting Kit that only the same wattage ballast as the lamp should be used.
